Stephanie loves yoga and hasn’t been able to stop talking about it with everyone she meets since 2013. Stephanie started practicing yoga as way to get healthy and have some time to herself as a new mom. What she walked away with was more than just the physical practice. She loves the way yoga brings stillness to her mind, and the personal strength it brings within. Her love for Baptiste yoga grew, and in June of 2015, she attended Art of Assisting. Stephanie instantly fell in love with the connection that assisting brings to a class and the community yoga creates. A few months later in October 2015, she attended Baptiste’s Being of Power Program, which ignited a strong desire for her to live a more purposeful life. In May of 2016, she completed Expand your Power. Teacher training. It generated a change in Stephanie to go after everything she wants to happen in her life, even if it seems scary at times. She is continually learning something new about herself and the practice every time she is on her mat, and is committed to personal growth.
Stephanie hopes to empower and inspire people through teaching yoga, while weaving in some fun and laughter. She has a genuine desire to make everyone feel welcome and part of this community.
When Stephanie isn’t practicing yoga or continuing her training, she is out spending time with her family. Stephanie’s son and daughter keep her days full with lots of laughter and joy. They love to go hiking, biking and exploring in Oregon together as a family. You can find them spending most of their weekends camping in the summer and Stephanie is always planning their next adventure, never failing to research the best places to eat.
