Nicole began consistently practicing yoga in her final year of high school, battered by sports injuries. What began as a way to stretch tired muscles quickly became a transformational stress relief technique as she entered her first years of college at Oregon State. Looking for a way to deepen her understanding and connection with the practice of yoga, Nicole completed WVPY’s 200-hour training in the winter of 2019, and is currently enrolled to begin WVPY’s advanced 300-hour training in the spring of 2020.
When teaching, Nicole seeks to balance energy and heat with release and self-compassion. Her goal is to guide others to experience the same empowerment she experiences on her mat, and believes that yoga is for anyone and everyone.
When not at the studio, Nicole studies environmental science and sustainable agriculture. She is a lover of all bees: she is a honey beekeeper, mason-bee researcher, and ranks bumblebees as the cutest bee.
