After four years of taking yoga classes on and off, Trishten finally gave in to the advice of her friends and tried WVPY for the first time in 2016. It only took one class to know she was hooked!
In March 2017, Trishten graduated from WVPY's second teacher training class, Be Bold Teacher Training. Trishten quickly realized that she wanted to be a part of the amazing community of teachers and assistants at WVPY.
Baptiste Yoga appealed to Trishten in a way that no other exercise or activity had ever done before. Having been on the hunt for the perfect exercise for a 13 year old knee injury, she thought she had tried it all. Enter, Baptiste Yoga. The physical challenge paired with the opportunity for mental clarity and growth is what motivated and inspired her yoga journey. Trishten also volunteers teaching yoga to the employees of Salem Hospital every week to help reduce job related stress associated with healthcare providers. When not in studio teaching, assisting or practicing you can find Trishten spending time with her family. She is a wife and mother of two. Together they love being outdoors biking, hiking and golfing. On the rare occasion Trishten finds personal downtime, it is usually met with Netflix, girlfriends and Mimosas!
