A self-described “wobbly yogi,” Laura is passionate about sharing how yoga meets us where we are, regardless of shape, size, or ability. During a decade spent making and raising 5 tiny humans, she turned to yoga to find a way to reconnect with her own body. She spent several years experimenting in different styles before her practice found its yoga home in 2018, at Willamette Valley Power Yoga. Five classes later, she was signed up for their BE BOLD 200hr Teacher Training, learning in the style of Baptiste yoga. She is also a certified Yoga for All instructor, specializing in creating a safe space for diverse student populations. She attended Advanced Art of Assisting in 2018, and loves to empower students’ practice through the power of touch. Laura’s teaching style playfully and enthusiastically encourages students to discover what their own bodies are capable of, whether it’s a challenging Power Vinyasa or an empowering Gentle Flow. When not biking to and from the studio, Laura likes to dabble in various circus arts, gardening, and cooking up delicious vegan food.
