Jill is a devoted yoga teacher as well as a genuine yoga practitioner. Since finishing her initial Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2013, Jill has continued to deepen her practice and expand the scope of her yoga studies, exploring various styles of yoga, until finally finding and falling in love with Baptiste Yoga. In 2016 she completed a second 200hr, “Expand Your Power,” which was her first official Baptiste training. Shortly after, she completed Level One. In 2018 she started a year long Advanced Teacher Training with WVPY to complete her 500hr certification.
As an instructor, Jill’s classes are deceptively challenging while taught with compassion and energy. With a background in Developmental Studies and Sociology, Jill’s approach to yoga is one that honors the need for individual self-study with the aim of improving interpersonal relations and community.Jill feels the fullest when given the chance to empower others and intends to do that through each yoga class she teaches. When she isn't teaching yoga, you can find her with her two rescue pups, Hank and Harriet, teaching kindergarten at public school, or DIYing with her Husband, Matt.
