From her beginnings as a high school teacher, Jen took her love of teaching to yoga in 2013. What she found was an amazing community that enjoyed learning and practicing together while pursuing physical and mental growth. She fell in love with the practice and the community that yoga created and knew she had to be a part of it!Jen became a 500 Hour Certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher after completing Levels 1, 2, 3, Art of Assisting, Advanced Art of Assisting and the Apprentice Program with the Baptiste Institute. She continues to participate in, and be inspired by, trainings like Advanced Art of Assisting. In the summer of 2015 she had the profound experience to travel to Kenya where she and her children served with the Africa Yoga Project at Flying Kites Orphanage. She will always be a student of the practice and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her.Jen learns something new about herself every time she steps on her mat, and comes away feeling energized, strong and open to possibilities. She is known for her authentic teaching style and classes that combine a passion for the practice, inspiration and a whole lot of FUN! She loves to see students light up when they realize their own power and strength and believes yoga has the ability to stretch both bodies and minds on and off the mat.
