Family Yoga Benefiting Noonan Syndrome

Get your family down to Willamette Valley Power Yoga on February 28th! This class is lead by Elisabeth Parker, our children's yoga teacher, wife to Josh and mama to Ezra and Judah. Read a bit about their story below:

The Parker's youngest son Ezra was born with an unexpected medical condition called Noonan Syndrome. Noonan Syndrome has been called, "The most common disease you've never heard of." It is considered a rare disease, but could be as common as 1 in 1000 to 1 in 2500 births. It is a variably expressed, multi-system disorder which means it can affect any and all systems of the body and is often characterized by small stature, heart defects, bleeding issues, and a predisposition to cancer. Ezra has battled a number of these issues in his young life, but he is the most tenacious and resilient little boy. He has taught the Parker family to find joy and gratitude amidst adversity and to celebrate life every chance they get. February is Noonan Syndrome Awareness Month, please join WVPY for a donation-based Family Yoga Class to benefit the Noonan Syndrome Foundation and RASopathies Network. You can learn more about Ezra's story and Noonan Syndrome at the Parker's blog:
